eat2eat members are encouraged to upload videos, photographs and reviews, and create favourite lists on their MyEat2Eat profile page, which they then share with their friends on Blogger, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.
After designing and developing the eat2eat website for the brand launch in 2001, Digital Tsunami was commissioned to redesign a fresh new interface with comprehensive social integration. An icon was devised for the eat2eat brandline, “everything about food”.
The client requested a dark background to contrast with photographs of restaurants and food. The presentation of lists and images is driven by multiple criteria: reverse chronological order for most recent entry and review dates; alphabetical for search; randomisers for a variety of videos, photographs and restaurant names; and ranking for reviews of restaurants and dishes. The website has multiple language content.
