Helping Hand campaign photography
CloseOverview
Helping Hand is a Hong Kong charitable organisation, assisting elderly people who lack financial support. Major annual fundraising follows Lunar New Year, when a media campaign promotes the sale of cookies. This campaign will launch on 25 February 2013.
At the initiative of Producer Andy Chan, the support of Helping Hand (on a pro-bono basis), has been a part of Digital Tsunami’s international corporate social responsibility (CSR) programme since 2006.
For this annual print campaign, Andy has managed photographic sessions with highly renowned Hong Kong actor / performer, Jacky Cheung Hok-yau.
Advertising Agency William Chan provided the creative. Manhattan Kitchens supplied the location. Photographers Bobby Lee and (this year) Joe Chan, have contributed their time, resources and talents.
Other sponsors include: Chicks, CNI Financial Holdings, Crown Worldwide, Delta photographic studios, HaiTong, Hung Holdings, MetroBroadcast, Northlight and St Honore Cake Shop.
Citiplaza will provide the venue for a launch event. The poster will appear as print ads in the daily press and prominently as billboards in public transport, including: the busy Mass Transit Railway (MTR) stations, bus shelters (courtesy of J C Decaux Cityscape) and the iconic Hong Kong Star Ferry.
Andy also produced a video for Kowloon Motor Bus (KMB), on the company’s contribution to the campaign.

From Our Clients
I happily recommend Andrew and the Digital Tsunami team.
I have dealt with many web marketing and support companies over the years, and have been very impressed with Digital Tsunami's response, advice and understanding of their field. I recommend talking to Andrew about your next web project.
I worked with Andrew on a photography project that involved a high level of visual complexity for a multinational client. Andrew was clear and professional in his briefing, but at the same time, was open to other ideas and approaches.
The MULS Executive is delighted with this aesthetically pleasing, user friendly site.
We found Digital Tsunami to be a full-service operation and we are satisfied with the products delivered: from the (identity), banners, business cards, letterheads, to the student magazine.

Digital Tsunami provided an outstanding service throughout the whole web development process. Andrew spent extensive time early on to understand our business in order to provide additional conceptual and strategic contributions to the brand and corporate identity of Kinetic Defence Services to ensure the message was clear, precise and appealing to the target audience.
