Several of these high angle images were shot in Hong Kong, when Parisian Producer Nico Pollet-villard contacted Essential Asia (now the film and photography division of Digital Tsunami), to conduct a location scout and then to service the production.
Renowned New York based commercial photographer John Offenbach, was commissioned to shoot the campaign. Andy Chan shot high angle location reference from a helicopter and the rooftops of city buildings, before securing location approvals for the selected camera positions.
Andy, Andrew W Morse and their team of camera, lighting, grip, art department and production personnel transformed a Hong Kong Fire Depot into a parasol refuge and a rooftop restaurant. The fire tower provided a close and high angle camera position, and despite intermittent rain, the shot was captured during a dramatic night shoot.
Digital Tsunami developed websites for Century international Hotels, subsequently acquired by the Accor group (parent of the Pullman brand).
